Our Way of Working
Visit & Garden Assessment
It all begins with a visit and a chat to establish yours and the garden’s nature needs. We’ll do a walk around and observation of the garden and from this create a Garden Wildlife & Habitat Overview with a Written Summary and suggestions for initial opportunities for enhancement.
Practical Enhancement Plan
Expanding upon information from the Initial Visit & Garden Assessment, suggestions would be made to add additional habitat structure. We would specify plants that increase insect and other animal species diversity and numbers.
Detailed Enhancement Plan
We provide an in depth audit of the garden plants to assess them for their potential insect associations by creating individual Ecological Plant Profiles, including a score calculation for an ‘at a glance’ insight into their nature value. This information will be used to create an Enhancement Plan that includes planting & habitat specifications, providing measurable and data-informed detail to bring wildlife into your garden from the plants up.
Implementation & ongoing Support
Once we’ve assessed the existing garden and made a plan for your future garden, we offer plant sourcing (from peat and pesticide free nurseries) & layout help, visits to monitor wildlife and other ongoing support such as - specialised workshops, species walks, team / gardener training.
